Tribute Room
The Tribute Room on the USS Arlington honors those that lost their lives at the Pentagon on 9/11. The room serves to educate visitors and promote knowledge of the events on 9/11. The room was originally funded by the Commissioning Committee from which the Alliance evolved. The Alliance provides items and/or funding as needed for additions to the Tribute Room.
Oakridge Elementary
Oakridge Elementary School in Arlington is the nearest school to the Pentagon. The school has helped support crew members during deployment. Crew members visit Oakridge as part of their community outreach. The Alliance helps facilitate these exchanges.
